Work In Progress: Puppy raising book

The question I get asked the most about puppy raising is “how do you give them up?” I want to share all that I have gained from raising because it seems like a huge loss to give up a dog you’ve raised for a year and a half. The sadness when you say goodbye is inevitable but what’s beautiful is the unique connection you gain with the person your dog ends up with.

I am putting together a collection of short stories for a book that entails life lessons I have learned from each puppy. My hope is to encourage others to puppy raise because there are not nearly enough service dogs to meet the need.

Work In Progress: Woodcarving Series

At the beginning of this year, I started to learn woodcarving at my local recreation center. It has become a therapeutic activity I enjoy doing in my free time. Work In Progress: via Ferrata hikes

Project that will scale up the wall going up our stairs and involves spackling the wall to look like natural rock followed by paintings and photos from each hike accomplished.
